We take each exposure to the markets that already understand it, negotiate terms on its own facts, and stay on the account through to claims.

    Energy & Chemicals

    Property damage, machinery breakdown and business interruption for refineries, petrochemical plants, terminals and upstream assets. We place high-value single risks where local capacity runs out, and structure the layers so the retention sits where the cedant wants it.

  • Hull · Cargo · Liability

    Marine & Cargo

    Hull and machinery, cargo and transit, stock throughput, project cargo and marine liability. Limassol sits on one of the busiest shipping corridors in the Mediterranean, and we broke into markets that price that traffic every day.

  • Long tail

    Casualty & Financial Lines

    General and product liability, professional indemnity, D&O, cyber and financial institutions. On long-tail business the wording decides the outcome long before the rate does, so we read it before we market it.

  • Single risk · Nat cat

    Property Risks

    Commercial and industrial property, including natural catastrophe exposure and business interruption. Facultative support for accounts that exceed treaty capacity, fall outside its terms, or need cover the treaty was never written for.

  • CAR / EAR · DSU

    Construction Risks

    Contractors' and erection all risks, delay in start-up and third-party liability for civil works, plant and infrastructure. Cover is built around the programme — groundworks, erection, testing and maintenance each priced for what they actually expose.

  • Wind · Solar · BESS

    Renewable Energy

    Onshore and offshore wind, solar PV and battery energy storage. BESS is where capacity is tightest and wordings least settled, so we place it with markets that have already written it — and we tell you exactly where the exclusions bite.

Aquantis Re is an independent reinsurance broker headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus. We work facultative — risk by risk, layer by layer — for cedants who need security built around their exposure, rather than around somebody else's treaty.

Cyprus-based

Limassol places us inside the EU regulatory perimeter and within a working day of the London, Continental European and MENA markets. Registered with the Insurance Companies Control Service under number 8042.

Independent

No underwriting arm, no carrier ownership, no quota to fill. The only obligation we carry into a negotiation is the one we owe the client.

Facultative

Every risk is underwritten on its own facts. We build the security around a single exposure, negotiate the terms directly, and remain on the account when it comes to claims.
